It stands as a dark talisman of hope, armor, and the yearning for a rare, pure love. As long as the color holds, the night is hers.

"Dead Goth Nation" A declaration against the decay of the gothic subculture. Authenticity watches in disgust as social media screens and shallow trends erode the foundation of the scene. Frustrated by the rise of posers and the hyper sexual commercialization of their sanctuary, the true vampires of the night are ready to reclaim what is lost to the digital glare.

The Woman Wore Black album consists of raw recordings mixed in monaural to capture that centered, visceral punch found in classic pressings falling in line with the Dark Deco aesthetic. While the genre's history is full of wide, chorused guitars and cavernous stereo reverb, a deliberate, modern mono release is practically a unicorn in Gothic Rock.
